Server Rules

*Updated April 4th 2025.

  1. No RDM (Random Death Match), VDM (Vehicle Death Match), or KOS (Kill On Sight)

    • All server conflict needs to have substantial RP leading up to the conflict

  2. No Metagaming or Stream Sniping

    • You cannot use any information that your character did not receive in character (IC).

    • This includes anything you may have seen on another players stream.

    No Fail RP

    • Your character must act in a way that makes sense in a real-life situation.

      • This includes cop-baiting.

    • We do not have a traditional NVL (No Value of Life) rule, but we do expect players to roleplay injuries appropriately based on the situation.

      • You choose what injuries your character sustains, but they should match the level of risk involved.

      • Example: If your character pulls a weapon while at gunpoint and gets shot down, you should RP serious injuries. It wouldn't make sense to just walk it off with vest hits or be robbing a store 15 minutes later.

      • Use your best judgment. If you’re unsure, staff is here to help guide you.

  3. No Powergaming

    1. You cannot force another player to RP in a certain way.

    2. You MUST provide counterplay.

  4. You and your characters must be at least 18 years old.

  5. You must speak and understand English fluently at all times.

  6. Be respectful. Do not be toxic or breed toxicity of any kind.

  7. Supernatural RP

    • Supernatural RP is allowed, but you must provide plausible deniability.

    • You cannot force others to believe in supernatural RP or make it an undeniable reality within the RP world.

  8. Restricted RP (Requires Admin Ticket & Approval)

    • Serial Killer RP – You must open a ticket and receive staff approval before engaging in serial killer RP.

    • Government Corruption RP – Any RP involving government corruption (such as high-level law enforcement or public officials abusing power) must be approved through a ticket.

    • Bomb Threat RP - Any RP involving bomb threats, whether real or fake, must be approved through a ticket. Staff will review the scenario based on the reasoning, target, and overall context before granting permission.

  9. Groups and Gangs

    • There are no restrictions on forming a group or gang

    • However, once your group or gang reaches 6 or more members, you must open a gang registration ticket in Discord.

    • In the ticket, you must provide:

      • Character names of all members.

      • Discord names of all members (they will be added to the ticket).

      • Group/Gang name.

    • The ticket will remain open until the group disbands, allowing staff to keep track of group activity and providing a direct line of communication between your group and staff.

  10. Department Leadership Restriction

    • If you are in both PD and EMS departments, as a player, you may only hold a command role in one of them.

      • For PD, this applies to command roles, which are defined as rank 100-300 in the PD structure.

      • For EMS, this applies to Supervisor and above roles, which include:

        • EMS Supervisor

        • PHS Supervisor

        • Chief of EMS

        • Chief of PHS

        • Chief

  11. Heist and Mechanical Crime Rules

    • A maximum of 4 players may participate in any mechanical crime (a crime that triggers a police alert through game mechanics, such as store robberies, standard bank heists, car boosting, etc. *(NOTE: This does not include Racing).

    • For Paleto Bank and Pacific Bank, the maximum is 6 players.

    • The total number of players involved in the heist at any point from start to finish cannot exceed the max limit for that heist type.

      • Example: If a bank heist is started with 2 people inside, up to 2 more players can be involved later, for a total of 4 players maximum across the entire heist scene.

      • Example: If a Paleto Bank heist starts with 4 people, up to 2 more may be involved later, for a total of 6 players maximum.

    • The heist scene is considered over when:

      • All involved players have either escaped or been caught by police.

      • There has been no active pursuit or interaction with law enforcement for 10 minutes.

      • The total max number includes all actions related to the heist. This includes, but is not limited to:

        • Players inside the crime scene.

        • Players helping with getaways or extractions.

        • Players distracting or interfering with police.
